Convening some of the world’s most successful change agents, the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders (YGL) community gathered in San Francisco last month for their Annual Summit. Under the theme “Co-Creating a Sustainable Future,” the Summit explored emerging technologies that can harness the Fourth Industrial Revolution as a positive force while mitigating its unintended consequences.
As a member of the YGL community, Three Squares Inc. President Jaime Nack supported the efforts to implement a comprehensive sustainability plan for the Summit and to make the event carbon neutral. This effort involved having Three Squares Inc. measure the entire carbon footprint of event-related activities and coordinate carbon offsets to neutralize the footprint via the South Pole Group (also headed by another YGL, Renat Heuberger).
