Nov. 30, 2009 - PRLog -- The sustainability consulting firm Three Squares Inc. is proud to announce the launch of the Women In Green Forum, an inaugural event bringing women in the sustainability field together to further their work in developing future solutions to the environmental crises facing our planet.
The Women In Green Forum will highlight women’s impact on the environmental arena, promote the sustainable products offered by emerging green companies and provide opportunities for women to learn about careers in sustainability. Featuring an assembly of renowned female professionals from the energy, technology, transportation, consumer product, professional service and nonprofit sectors, the two-day conference will include general sessions, breakout sessions, a tradeshow, ride and drive with alternative fueled vehicles, an "Eco Chic Runway" fashion show, film screenings and more.
“From leading key environmental agencies to serving as directors of sustainability for Fortune 500 companies, women have made a huge impact on environmental policy and establishing the overall business case for sustainability. With so little time to solve the many critical environmental issues confronting us, we see an opportunity for the Women In Green Forum to become a driving force in shaping collaborative solutions to the challenges ahead,” says Three Squares Inc. President Jaime Nack. Three Squares Inc. was engaged to produce the event based upon previous successes in green event production which have propelled the organization into the national spotlight.
Three Squares Inc. is eager to collaborate with the Women In Green Forum and its affiliates in bringing together a forum of professional women representing the present and future champions of sustainable development. This pivotal event is anticipated to become the platform from which women promote and support solutions to the challenges facing our future on this planet.
