The World Resources Institute (WRI) has named Jaime Nack, Founder and CEO of One Drop Interactive, and Rina Kupferschmid, Managing Partner and CEO of ESG Analytics, to the New Innovators Council. Nack and Kupferschmid – who are also World Economic Forum Young Global Leaders – have both launched successful technology startups that focus on corporate sustainability solutions. They will be welcomed to WRI’s select group of environmental and technology change-makers this week in New York by Bloomberg’s President and CEO, Daniel L. Doctoroff.
The WRI’s New Innovators Council drives action on global environmental challenges through a scalable, technology-based approach. Nack and Kupferschmid will utilize their unique backgrounds in the sustainability innovation sphere to address how technology trends can be leveraged for sustainable action, strategies to increase the use-ability of environmental data, and the developments required for information technology to play a more catalytic role in sustainability.
“Today’s corporate leaders recognize that technology will be a key driver of tomorrow’s sustainability advancements,” said Jaime Nack, Founder and CEO of One Drop Interactive. “We are thrilled to be part of the discussions this week hosted by Bloomberg and to demonstrate how technology can support scalable solutions.”
For Nack and Kupferschmid, the New Innovators Council will serve as a platform to collaborate with other technology pioneers who are also making waves in the sustainability innovation space.
